Rights for defective goods are independent of withdrawal and any commercial warranty.
Defective-goods rights
- Return the product and terminate the contract.
- Keep the product and request a proportionate price reduction.
- Where it does not cause disproportionate cost, request free repair at the responsible party's expense.
- Where possible, request replacement with a conforming product.
Period and warranty certificate
Unless a longer period is promised, liability for defective goods is subject to a two-year limitation period from delivery. Defects discovered in the first six months are presumed to have existed at delivery unless the seller proves otherwise; hidden defects involving gross fault or fraud are not subject to the limitation rule.
If the product is in a category covered by the Turkish Warranty Certificate Regulation, its certificate is supplied on paper or a durable medium and its warranty is at least two years from delivery. An invoice is not itself the warranty certificate. A longer product-specific commercial warranty, if expressly promised, is additional to statutory rights.
Inspection after delivery
Inspecting the product at delivery, recording visible carrier damage where possible, and notifying customer service promptly helps the review. Missing a short period such as 24 hours does not by itself remove statutory rights.
Warranty claim
- Apply through contact@nevlight.com with the order number and a description of the issue.
- Photographs or video may be requested to assist initial review, and physical inspection may be required.
- Incorrect installation attributable to the seller or inadequate instructions is non-conforming performance. Consumer-caused damage is excluded only to the extent a proper assessment establishes that use contrary to instructions caused that damage.
- Free repair includes labour, parts, and transport; repair time is added to a mandatory warranty period where applicable.
Warranty period
Nothing in this page restricts mandatory consumer rights.
